If the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union law or the law of the Member States, the controller or the specific criteria for its designation may be provided for under Union law or the law of the Member States. <\/p>\n<p><strong>h) Data Processor \/ Data Processing Agent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A data processor is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other entity that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(i) Recipient<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A recipient is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body to whom personal data is disclosed, regardless of whether or not that entity is a third party.
